I am Christopher Lovato, I received my Psychology degree from the University of Arizona and my Masters Degree in Military Psychology at Adler University in Chicago. I went on to become a Certified NLP Practitioner and Board Certified Clinical and Analytical Hypnotherapist. I graduated from the Wesland Hypnotherapy Institute in 1992. I earned my Board Certification that same year.
My basic philosophy is to show kindness to all people. Listen and understand to what is being said. Helping people is at the root of all intent. The emotions of Trueself are, Love, Peace, Joy and Happiness. On the other hand, the Ego's emotions are Conflict Stress Fear and Guilt. The Ego will always try to hide the true self from you causing you to live in Ego emotions. We teach you how to transcend the Ego emotions. During therapy, we use ideodynamic finger signals to communicate with hidden layers of trauma and so there is no need to speak out loud and thus no chance of retraumatization. I simply set up the patients to heal themselves.
I was the President and CEO of Fanne Kaine Neurohabilitation, a school working with young people suffering from trauma induced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
I am now the Director of Education and founder of Southwestern Hypnotherapy, a center that offers comprehensive and affordable Analytical and Clinical hypnotherapy and NLP. and counseling. Southwestern Hypnotherapy began operations in 1992.
Currently, I am working on my Doctorate Degree in Military Psychology at Adler University in Chicago, in order to help Veterans overcome trauma leading to PTSD.

I worked for many years with Dr Skinner at the University of Arizona perfecting Cognitive Behavioural therapies for treating trauma and teaching those techniques to medical students at University Medical Center. I was also MC and a speaker on Spirituality and Healing for many years at the International Consciousness Conferences held at the University of Arizona.
We are located in Oro Valley, Arizona which is known for its tranquil, spiritual, and life transforming environment.
